Texas A&M Spring Seminar Course on Engineering With Nature

USACE Galveston District, the US Army's Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), and Texas A&M University have worked together to form the Coastal Science and Engineering Collaborative (CSEC). The organizations participating in the CSEC are pursuing a number of activities to advance the development and application of new capabilities for coastal systems and infrastructure. One of those new initiatives is an Engineering With Nature (EWN) Seminar Course. By way of background, the Department of Ocean Engineering at Texas A&M is in the process of developing a curriculum for a degree program that supports Engineering With Nature in coastal environments. To that end, the Department is offering a seminar course on Engineering With Nature during the spring 2018 semester. The seminar course (syllabus attached) will be offered at both the College Station and Galveston campuses of Texas A&M. Lectures will be given by a combination of Texas A&M faculty and USACE staff. As class materials become available, they will be uploaded to this site.
